December 1 is your deadline to enter the campus columnist contest
The campus columnist is a student or employee of Utrecht University who writes about striking things related to the university or student life. Critical and entertaining, the columns should make readers think.
Campus columnists write about all kinds of subjects. Students can write about their experiences in the classroom, how to have fun with little money to spare, or how they feel having used ChatGPT to write an assignment, to name but a few examples.
Employees can write about how their departments are anticipating the government's austerity measures, how the university could improve as an employer, and how to catch that one student trying to get an 8.0 using ChatGPT.
Who can participate
All students and employees who are affiliated with Utrecht University on January 1 2025 can participate. Students can participate even if they graduate somewhere in 2025.
How to participate
All you have to do is send us two columns with up to 500 words each. Both entries must be in the same language and they must offer an interesting take on university life. The deadline to submit is December 1 and the address to send your columns to is m.j.agterberg@uu.nl
