The position of student advisor to the Executive Board has existed since September 2021. The student participates in weekly meetings and consultations with faculty boards. The student advisor is also expected to be in touch with students and student organisations to represent students' point of view.

Nienke Luijckx had been chosen as the fifth advisor to the board, but she decided to give up the role. On the Intranet, UU Rector Wilco Hazeleger says that the Executive Board would very much like to have a student advisor this academic year. ‘We have seen how valuable it is to include students' perspective.’

It is not yet clear what the recruitment procedure will look like. If the board manages to find someone, the fifth student advisor will succeed Niels Vreeswijk.

Het is interessant om te kijken hoe de UU nu nog aan een nieuwe assessor komt.
