RUS doesn't make it

The only student rugby club with exclusively female members was back in the final for the first time in ten years. RUS was champion of the Netherlands between 2012 and 2016 and delivered numerous internationals for years.

It was clear beforehand that winning the final would not be an easy task. The final was played on AAC's grounds. Moreover, in the regular competition, RUS had lost twice to the Amsterdam women.

In the end, a final score of 17-0 appeared on the scoreboard. The NOS made a short summary of the match that can be seen here.
 

The sisterly battle between Utrecht medical student Juliette and her Amsterdam sister Morgane, which DUB wrote about last week, was thus decided in Morgane's favor.
