You have until December 1 to send your entry to the Campus Columnist contest

The campus columnist is either a student or an employee of Utrecht University who writes about topics that are relevant to the rest of the university community, such as the search for a room, the ups and downs of writing a thesis, worrying about the climate or commenting on new university measures, to name but a few examples.

Who can participate
The contest is open to all students and employees connected to the university on January 1, 2024. This means that you can participate even if you will graduate in 2024.

How to participate
All you have to do is send two columns with 500 words each to m.j.agterberg@uu.nl no later than December 1. The columns should offer an original take on university life. The columns will be anonymised before being submitted to a panel of experts, who will choose the finalists for both the English and the Dutch pages. The two winners will be announced in January.
