Win tickets to watch the climate-conscious performance Horror at Stadsschouwburg Utrecht
“Superior”. That's how Theaterkrant, a publication dedicated to theatre, described Horror in a 2014 review. Ten years later, Jakop Ahlbom returns with this audience favourite, creating a magical world that is not often seen in the theatre. With a mix of mime, dance, slapstick, music, magic and visual effects, Ahlbom brings an imaginative ode to the genre.
The performance, which will be held on November 2 at Stadsschouwburg, is part of the Warming Up Festival, a series of theatre performances about the climate. Previously held in Amsterdam, Stadsschouwburg is now bringing the festival to Utrecht. You can check out the entire programme here.
Climate-conscious
Jakop Ahlbom is vocal about making performing arts more climate-conscious. This performance is an opportunity to raise awareness of the need for a greener theatre.
Language no problem
If you don't speak Dutch, don't sweat it: there is no spoken text in this performance, so everyone can enjoy it.
