Tram to Utrecht Science Park free for two weeks

With this offer, public transport company U-OV is celebrating that passengers going to the Utrecht Science Park from Nieuwegein or IJsselstein no longer need to transfer. From September 19 until October 2, it will not be necessary to check in or check out on the platforms.

Until last summer, the final stop on the line from Nieuwegein and IJsselstein was on the Jaarbeurs side of the central station, while the final stop of the tram connecting the central station to the Utrecht Science Park was on the central side. The two stops have now been connected. Passengers going from one line to the other no longer need to cross the station for that.
