You can now comment on DUB with your Solis ID
Up until now, DUB has been outsourcing its comment system to the Disqus platform. Users had to first log in to Disqus before leaving a comment on DUB. This system was chosen to prevent spam.
Now, the university offers a secure way for members of the UU community to comment. All students and employees have a Solis ID, and they can now use it to comment on DUB as well. This makes it harder for readers to use a fake name or comment anonymously.
Individuals who do not have a Solis ID or prefer not to have their names disclosed can create an account through DUB's website. The account must first be approved by the editors, who will also be able to see the email address used to create it.
DUB believes that this new commenting system aligns more closely with the commenting policy, which is based on respectful and relevant comments.
Comments
We appreciate relevant and respectful responses. Responding to DUB can be done by logging into the site. You can do so by creating a DUB account or by using your Solis ID.
