"Hospiteren" is how the Dutch call the practice of inviting all potential roommates over so that the students already living in a house can decide who they like best. Needless to say, that can be a bit awkward. For some students, it feels like a meat market, while others see it as a good way to see if you would get along well with the roommates. DUB asked students about their experiences with "hospiteren" and tips for first-year students.
