UMC Utrecht is ready and the stops at Heidelberglaan and Padualaan will be renovated soon. Between July 5 and 21, trams and buses will not stop at Heidelberglaan and the same will happen with the tram stop at Padualaan between August 16 and September 1. The remaining stops on the route will be renovated later.

Each stop will be renovated according to the number of travellers getting on and off. For example, Heidelberglaan and Padualaan stops will get much longer roofs, while Galgenwaard doesn't need that as relatively few people use it.

Each stop will be equipped with a bamboo bench, LED lighting and a roof. The check-in and check-out points will also be under the roofs, as will security cameras. In addition, solar panels will be installed at the stops.

The renovation work on the first three stops will largely be carried out in the summer to affect as few travellers as possible. Most roofs will be installed on weekends. Trams will continue to run according to the timetable during minor renovations.
