DUBstagram: Achter St. Pieter

Having moved here only a month ago, Master's student Jodie is thoroughly enjoying the beauty of Utrecht. Going to class in a building like Achter St. Pieter inspired this instagram picture.

"My name is Jodie Edwards. I'm from the UK - more specifically, from Harrogate, a town near Leeds, in the North of England. I've been in Utrecht for around a month now (and loving every minute of it so far), and I am doing a Master’s degree in Criminology."

Why did you take this picture?
"I took the picture of Achter Sint Pieter as I was parking my bike to go to a seminar in the building. The building is one of the main buildings for the Law, Economics and Governance department, so I have a few academic commitments in there. Basically I took the picture because it’s not often you stop and appreciate the beauty of your surroundings when you are rushing to lectures. I think we are so fortunate to study in such a beautiful medieval town, so I took a picture to appreciate my new surroundings!"

What instagram account should every international student in Utrecht follow?
"I am a huge fan of the Explore Utrecht instagram account, they are always giving tips on where is best to go in Utrecht and the events that are on which is perfect for someone like myself who is looking to go to new places and do lots of things whilst in Utrecht."
