Join the new course organised by Dynamics of Youth: interdisciplinary perspectives on child development! Provided by experts from all faculties of UU, and open for students from all faculties!

What's the course about? How do children develop? What is the role of and effect on society? These aren't questions you can answer on your own. In the course 'Dynamics of Youth: developmental perspectives' (level 3, block 1) you'll study child development together with students and teachers from multiple scientific fields.

What do you do during the course? In lectures and workgroups you focus on current societal questions, such as cyber bullying and the influence of migration on child development. In each lecture two experts discuss a question from their own perspective, and will ask you to add yours. Next, you'll work on a self-chosen question in multi-disciplinary groups. You add knowledge from your own field, and learn to take the perspectives of your fellow students.

In short: a unique chance to study child development in a new and interdisciplinary way!
