Questions of why, how and when to use English and Dutch in academia are hotly debated at Dutch universities. The Utrecht Young Academy organises a bilingual town hall meeting for all staff and students to share knowledge and experiences to foster a better understanding of complexities involved in choosing and using a specific language. It will also be a step towards generating creative solutions for the language issues under discussion.
