De Universiteit Utrecht vaart samen met de Hogeschool Utrecht en het UMC Utrecht mee met de Utrecht Canal Pride. Op 7 juni barst het feest los!

Wil je met ons meevaren? Wat leuk! De plekken op de boot zijn helaas beperkt. Daarom moedigen wij voornamelijk queer- en questioning* personen aan om zich aan te melden. Zo kunnen we op deze dag samen opkomen voor onze rechten, ons uitspreken tegen misstanden en de progressie vieren die wij en onze voorgangers hebben gerealiseerd.
Belangrijk om te weten
Enkel studenten en medewerkers van de HU/UU/UMC Utrecht kunnen zich aanmelden en het is niet mogelijk een +1 mee te nemen op de boot. Het aanmeldingsformulier sluit op woensdag 16 april, daarna zullen de plekken verloot worden onder de aanmeldingen. Ongeveer één week na het sluiten van de aanmeldingen krijg je te horen of je met ons meevaart. Zet in ieder geval de datum van de verplichte matrozenbijeenkomst op woensdag 14 mei in de namiddag/avond in je agenda.
*Queer is een overkoepelende term voor seksuele- en genderdiverse personen waaronder maar niet uitsluitend homoseksuele, biseksuele, panseksuele, transgender, intersekse en non-binaire/genderqueer mensen. Met questioning personen bedoelen we mensen die zich (nog) niet op een seksualiteit of genderidentiteit hebben vastgelegd of nog zoekend zijn.

Would you like to join us? How nice! Unfortunately, there are limited places on the boat. That is why we mainly encourage queer and questioning* people to register. This way, we can stand up for our rights together on this day, speak out against abuses and celebrate the progress that we and our predecessors have achieved.

Important to know
Only students and employees of HU/UU/UMC Utrecht can register and it is not possible to bring a +1 on the boat. The registration form closes on Wednesday 16 April, after which the places will be raffled among the registrations. Approximately one week after the registrations close, you will hear whether you will be sailing with us. In any case, put the date of the mandatory sailors' meeting on Wednesday 14 May in the afternoon/evening in your agenda.
*Queer is an umbrella term for sexually and gender diverse people including but not limited to homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, intersex, and non-binary/genderqueer people. By questioning people we mean people who have not (yet) committed to a sexuality or gender identity or are still searching.
