This year is a lustrum year for Utrecht University (385 years) and for the Utrecht Summer School (35 years). Utrecht Summer School is delivering, together with its partners, a number of pop-up events.

The botanic gardens have been part of Utrecht ever since the middle ages. Today, the ‘hortus botanicus’ is located at the Utrecht Science Park. Or, to be more precise, at one of the forts of the Dutch Water Defence Line. Are you curious as to the history of the botanic gardens in Utrecht? What purposes do the gardens serve today? Guided tours are organized both on 20 July as well as on 29 July.
